Puzzle #35 – It’s Greek to Me

I guess DELTA is only worth 4 points in this version.

Looks like things are going right well on the puzzlefest front; it’s coming along right nicely. If you haven’t yet, check it out here. As a nice little promotion, my pal Matt Gaffney put a copy of the crossword set up for grabs as a prize on his site last weekend; he’s doing the same this weekend, so get to it!

Can you figure out the four bonus answers that go with this puzzle?

  1. Four bonuses? You’ve got 4 of 6 siblings or 3 siblings and their mother. The other two kids have anagrams that aren’t too yucky. I can’t think of one of one for the father. If you widen the net further, there are more than 4. My favorite would involve “atrophied”, ’cause that makes for funny anagrams.

Also got the four bonuses. I agree with 4 siblings. Nice challenge this week, diificult, but solvable.
