Lots of hard puzzles lately, so we’ll take it down a level with some home-cooked goodness. Nothing too tricky in this one, so use the extra time to share the puzzle with someone.
New puzzle collections are out! Andrew Feist’s Second Annual Puzzle Contest for Charity, Sports Widow, is out. It’s a small melange of various puzzle types, and I’m enjoying it so far. And for the fan of big puzzle compilations, check out The Maze of Games, a new puzzle book from Mike Selinker & co.
Oh! As far as next week is concerned, you are expected to expect the unexpected.

Cute. Nice little Friday treat.
But I can’t expect the unexpected. Because now I’m totally expecting it.
60-across! i should have seen that coming. :)
Spoilers in this comment!
Very fun puzzle as always, and loved the clue for 60a. One error for me (and I think it’s a funny one): had GRAMPs at 10d for [Pop-pop], which gave me “SO MESsY!” for 30a [Rumormonger's opening].
